After my return from VUB, I created this web as a response to Information access difficulties raised by students at Mzumbe University - Dar es Salaam campus. During that time I was working with the University as library trainee. I started this assignment by creating two library databases; the first offered Catalogue facility, while the second provided access to quality full text library holdings comprising of books, policy papers, journal articles, reports etc. Students were happy with my databases, so I found it useful to proceed to the next phase.

In the second phase I published my databases using apache web server, and made searching to be done via links on my home library. Then I collected powerful search and meta-search engines into one drop-down menu. For design reasons I had to create another drop-down menu, before making sure that almost all websites of Tanzanian institutions, authorities, commissions, bureau, boards and councils which are potential sources of relevant information are linked to my website.
